Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium to host 7 IPL 2025 matches | Check out full schedule
The 18th edition of TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 schedule is officially out, and it’s time for Lucknow to get its game face on. Announced on Sunday, the itinerary reveals that Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play seven home matches at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, located along Amar Shaheed Path. The team's first clash is set for April 1 against Punjab Kings.
The tournament will run from March 22 to May 25, featuring 10 teams and a total of 74 matches across 13 stadiums in India. Read on for Lucknow’s full-line up!

Out of the seven home games, fans are particularly excited for LSG’s matches against Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). These clashes promise high-octane cricketing drama and fierce competition!
Rishabh Pant takes charge of LSG!
Indian cricket superstar Rishabh Pant, the newly appointed captain of LSG, is set to lead the team after being signed for a record ₹27 crore, during the IPL 2025 bidding. Alongside him, the squad boasts international players, including Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, South Africa’s Aiden Markram and David Miller, and India’s rising stars like Akash Deep, Avesh Khan, and Abdul Samad.
This season, former Indian bowler Zaheer Khan will be stepping in as LSG's Mentor. From February 4 to 7, Zaheer Khan worked closely with the players at Ekana Stadium, offering constructive feedback. Under the guidance of Head Coach Justin Langer, LSG has assembled a star-studded squad that’s ready to make waves in IPL 2025.
