Lucknow is set to get a world-class Central Park and Golf course as part of the Lucknow Development Authority's (LDA) ambitious IT City Project. IT City will integrate residential zones, commercial hubs, green spaces, and industrial areas in one modern township.

Bhumi pujan marks start of Lucknow's IT City project

On June 2, LDA officials along with local farmers, marked the start of development with bhumi pujan in Mohanlalganj tehsil, where land from 10 villages has been pooled. The project promises 5,000 residential plots (72-200 sqm), group housing spaces, a 200-acre golf course and a 15-acre water body.

To boost economic growth, 445-acres are reserved for industry and 260-acres for commercial use, aiming to attract investment and generate jobs. Under the land-pooling policy, farmers will get developed plots worth over ₹3 crores, far exceeding standard compensation.

With road and metro connectivity, the IT City is poised to become Lucknow's next premium hub. LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar confirmed the scheme's launch by Diwali 2025, reshaping the city's future with luxury, business and sustainability in one project.
