VM's owner, Manas Gandhi was quoted saying, "We have pioneered the concept of comfort food and great coffee in Lucknow. We have served more than 10 lakh cups of coffee till date and enough spaghetti, which could wrap around the earth several times." Furthermore, speaking about the cafe's popularity, Manas added, "Our cafe has also been a part of several big-budget Bollywood movies like Bala, Behen Hogi Teri and so on."
