Notably, LSG management has decided to only retain Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, and Ayush Badoni. Reacting to being excluded from the retention list, the Afghan player posted the following picture on Instagram in LSG colours, with a heartfelt caption where he thanked his teammates, supporting staff, and the fans:
