Sprawling over 224.6 hectares of lush green fields, the sanctuary has beautiful birds like Peafowl, Sarus Crane, King Crow, Indian Roller and reptiles like Viper, Water Snakes, Cobra, Rattlesnakes and others.
While tourists enjoy birdwatching the most, the sanctuary also boasts of a 2.6 Km long cycle stretch around the lake in the centre.
