As a part of a welfare initiative by Lucknow's Yahiyaganj Gurudwara, the medical professional is assuring safe COVID journeys for all these individuals, helping them to climb up the staircase of recovery. Dr. Amarjot is an assistant professor at RML Hospital in Lucknow.

His father, Dr. Gurdeep Singh, is the president of Yahiyaganj Gurudwara and the scheme was formalised with help of the organisation's secretary. Besides his usual duty, he has shouldered his moral responsibilities of supporting society, through this program. When he receives a call, the doctor carefully listens to all problems and symptoms and examines the reports. Followed by this, he advises the patient about medications, to make sure that the sick recovers at the home itself.

In addition to the teleconsultation, reports state that there are facilities for free provisioning of medicines as well. It has been stated that the scheme will continue to be in action till the pandemic subsides.
