With a motive to streamline traffic movement and put an end to traffic woes occurring during peak hours along the Shaheed Path route, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is now undertaking a construction project for developing a 500 metre long slip road in front of the Dial 112 Headquarters on Shaheed Path.

As per plans, the lane will be built in front of the Dial 112 Headquarters on Shaheed Path, starting near the Lohia Mother And Child State Referral Hospital.

Pertaining to the project, the NHAI DGM Puneet Verma has stated, "Upon the completion of the service lane construction project, vehicles travelling towards the Signature Building and Ekana Stadium will have the option of using the service lane instead of passing through the Ahmamau intersection, resulting in a more efficient and seamless travel experience."

"At the moment, 30% of the construction work involving the pouring of soil along Shaheed Path has been completed. The NHAI has set a target completion date of June for this project." he added.

In addition, the Sultanpur road patch before the Arjunganj intersection has also been widened by 100 meters to streamline the traffic movement for traffic going from the airport to Arjunganj and from Sultanpur Road to Sushant Golf City.
