Being one of the most dynamic volunteer groups in Lucknow, Robin Hood Army actively looks for opportunities to serve people amid different circumstances. Keeping the ongoing COVID vaccination drives in view, RHA has initiated a program called 'Senior Patrol' to ensure that all senior citizens in the city, who are facing difficulties in the registration process or all unable to reach the immunisation centres, also get the vaccine without any hassle.

'Robins' to facilitate COVID vaccination of senior citizens in the city

The organisation has entailed all the details related to its latest enterprising initiative, in a video released recently. If any senior citizen is encountering problems while registering on the online platform for COVID inoculation, all he needs to do is to fill a form on the RHA website. Thereafter, the individual shall be contacted by RHA and a 'Robin' would be soon available at his/her doorstep to guide him for the process. Trained to follow all protective measures related to the current pandemic, the volunteers shall assist the aged individuals through the entire procedure of vaccination.

They will not only aid in the registration process but also ensure that beneficiaries are able to access the vaccination centres through safe pickup and drop facilities. The group envisions bringing as many people as possible under the coverage of COVID vaccination. To this end, it is attempting to provide an easy and hassle-free way of procuring the vaccine jab.

Indore distributes over 12,000 Remdesivir injections across MP to ensure rapid COVID treatment

Indore District Administration denies permissions to wedding ceremonies amid steep escalation of coronavirus cases.

A large consignment of Remdesivir injections arrived at the Indore Airport on Sunday, carrying about 125 boxes of the COVID treatment drug. This lot collectively made about 12,000 injections available for immediate use. As per the directives of the Chief Minister, the state is undertaking several efforts to ensure that there is an optimum supply of medicines and necessary resources for the treatment of coronavirus infected patients in affected districts. Consequently, the medicine boxes were airlifted from the Indore Airport itself, to ensure immediate availability across other cities.
