With the onset of the pandemic in 2020, this is the first time that UP schools will organise examinations back in campus.

The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has announced offline annual examinations of classes 1-8 from March 22. As per the announcement, all government and aided schools in Uttar Pradesh are directed to conduct final examinations in offline mode.

Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, students were being promoted to the next class without writing their papers. After a gap of 2 years, this is the first time that schools will organise offline exams for all classes.
