Lucknow’s music scene is alive with fresh talent, and at the forefront is Arya, the electric guitarist driving the sensational The Rossini Band. Known for his electrifying blend of indie rock, funk, and synchronised dance moves, Arya MJ is redefining live performances in the city.

With Arya’s fiery riffs setting the tone, he isn’t just playing music but is delivering high-energy experiences that keep audiences hooked and dancing to his rhythm.

Aryendra Singh, famously known as Arya MJ, started far from the stage, rooted in his passion for dance. In 2012, he focused entirely on mastering the art of 'Locking,' even travelling to Bengaluru for training. Inspired by Michael Jackson's iconic Dangerous MTV performance in 1995, Arya realised Lucknow’s music scene lacked performers who could blend disco and funk with live music—and he set out to change that.

"The toughest part was building my own identity", Arya MJ admits. His creativity doesn’t stop at music; he designs his stage outfits, ensuring every detail reflects his artistic vision.

Together with Hrithik on vocals and acoustic guitar and Amogh David on drums, The Rossini Band is already making its mark. From performing at top venues like Vint Club and Hyatt Regency to judging the prestigious IIT Roorkee Thomso 2024 Lucknow zonals, the band has quickly earned a reputation for their originality and energy.

Arya MJ emphasises the importance of authenticity. This philosophy is at the heart of Rossini Band’s mission to reshape live music by prioritising originality and nurturing Lucknow’s indie music scene. For Arya and his bandmates, their goal is clear—“to show people what real music truly is.”

Though only a year old, The Rossini Band is already setting its sights high with ambitious projects. They’re working on original compositions that promise to showcase their distinct blend of funk and indie rock, along with a fresh, energetic rendition of the iconic "Bhaag DK Bose."
