Started by Maseera Naseem in 2021, Earthy scent is a venture for sustainable products, that offers hand-crafted ceramic-based dining accessories and cookware. Naseem started using earthenware in her daily routine about 3 years ago and she instantly developed a liking towards it. This inspired the idea of encouraging and promoting this environmentally friendly solution in our everyday commodities, ranging from Kadai to casserole!

Earthy Scent aims to provide you with all options from cooking to serving, concocting an eco-friendly experience. Not only do these products have scientifically proven health benefits due to the porous nature of clay, but they also maintain the correct pH balance of water. Moreover, clay enhances the flavour of food, retains natural minerals and micronutrients, neutralises acidity and makes food less oily and non-sticky!

Arpika, an analytical lawyer from Noida always fancied the art of dressing up her puppies, Coco, Chiku and Caesar. Gradually, it became an obsession for her and she decided to spread the love! Once she moved back to Lucknow, her adoration for pooches made her start this home-grown label- 'Let's PAWse', that creates interesting apparel for your furry cuties.

Speaking to Knocksense, Smita informed that the manufacturing of these products began in 2018 and it has definitely evolved to be a hit among her followers. She also organises workshops to teach students to make clocks, cake stands, tables, paintings, tray coasters, key chains, earrings and the like!

Apart from resin art, Smita is also well-versed in the art of teaching mural, acrylic, water, ceramic and oil paintings, all under one roof. With a diverse range of students from a 4-year old to a 64-year old, 'Smita Art & Craft Classes' proves the saying that there is no right or wrong age to learn something new!

Earthen Soapery

What do most 18-year olds do during summer breaks or lockdowns? Sleep, Netflix & Chill and Laze Around? In 2020, when people were binge-watching Game of Thrones waiting for the 'winters to come', Rajansh and Avirajj Rastogi were busy curating a novel idea. This duo created a way to promote cleanliness by making handmade and colorful gel soaps, infused with the best fragrances. Handcrafted with love, some exquisitely shaped soaps like butterflies, cars, trucks, apples, roses and special hampers are a big hit in town. Speaking to Knocksense, Avirajj said, "Rajjika, a 6-year old, is our youngest client and swears by our range of soaps, always ordering a few extra ones! Ruchir Rastogi, owner of Lala Jugal Kishore Kanpur orders corporate gift hampers regularly for his clients which has encouraged us a lot." Rumr

Preeti, the proud owner of 'Rumr' is a computer geek by education, a mother by choice and a health enthusiast by interest. With a deep interest in skincare, she started researching handmade soaps and lotions. Once she had experimented enough on herself and her family and friends, she launched her brand- Rumr, derived from a Sanskrit word that means beautiful.

At Rumr, products are close to nature and far away from harmful chemicals that are rampant these days. Newly launched e-buses to connect Lucknow to nearby rural areas from October 25

The fares for the e-buses will range from ₹5 for 3 km to ₹37 for more than 25 km

The newly launched electric buses in the city will ply on a new route, connecting Lucknow to the rural areas around, starting October 25. This will be the first time that such a service will be deployed in these areas, wherein commuters will be able to travel to and from the city, in the comfort of new state-of-the-art e-buses. Lucknow Municipal Corporation will deploy vehicles equipped with new anti-smog guns to combat the growing levels of air pollution in the city. New flights to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi & Hyderabad from October 31

These flights are part of the winter schedule approved by the DGCA

As per the new winter flight schedule approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, 25 new flight services will be started to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The daily flight movement between Indore and Delhi is set to increase with the induction of 16 new flights on this route. 10 new flights on both Indore-Ahmedabad and Indore-Mumbai routes along with at least 8 other services between Indore- Hyderabad, will also be functional from October 31.
