Think you've seen em all? 11 more Durga Pujo Pandals in Lucknow

Pujo ashche, and so are 11 more pandal stops.

Alt HL- 11 more Durga Puja Pandals in Lucknow to add to your Pujo trail

Since you asked us to mention all of these, how could we deny the rest of Lucknow its turn? Eleven more pandals, from quiet neighbourhood parks to a five-decade milestone, each convinced it is the one worth the detour. Some bring spectacle, others bring routine, and a few bring both without apology. The only real planning problem is that Navratri lasts a few days and your stamina does not.

15 must-visit Durga Puja Pandals in Lucknow for your festive photo walk

1. Milan Songho Puja

The most delicate thing at Milan Songho Puja is made from a plant that looks suspiciously like thermocol. Shola, shaped by artisans brought in from West Bengal, becomes the white Sholar Daker Saaj the idols wear, topped with topor mukuts. The pandal takes months to build, with nothing plastic and no shortcuts.

Where- Chandanganj Garden, Aliganj

2. Bondhu Mahal Durga Puja

Somewhere between the idol and the lighting, Bondhu Mahal Durga Puja decided a pandal should have something to say. It has said it about women's safety at work, about COVID-19 warriors and frontline workers, about the girl child, and about milestones the whole country shared. It also makes a decent photo backdrop, but that seems to be the least interesting thing about it.

Where- Rajendra Singh Park, B Block, Indiranagar

3. Shree Shree Sarvajanin Durga Puja Samiti Vidyant Hindu Degree College

Every year someone asks if the Vidyant College pandal has changed. Every year the answer is no, and every year the crowd comes anyway. Sarvajanin Durga Puja Samiti keeps it classic: traditional idols, evening aarti, cultural programs, neighbours turning into a congregation. In a city of pandals competing to be talked about, this one is mostly just attended.

Where- Vidyant Hindu Degree College, Gautam Buddha Marg, Aminabad

4. Pandariba Durga Puja

Ask a regular what Pandariba has added this year and they'll look at you like you asked the Gomti to change course. The rituals are traditional, the Bengali ceremonies are the real thing, and the pratima layout stays classic. While other pandals build skyscrapers out of bamboo, this one just keeps doing the puja properly.

Where- Charbagh

5. Geetanjali Durga Puja Park

Aashiyana, LDA Colony and Mansarovar rarely agree on where to meet, yet every Navratri they end up in the same park. Geetanjali Durga Puja Park is the neighbourhood's default address for festive evenings, first for Navratra and then for Durga Puja. Nobody sends a group message or plans a route. It is simply understood that the plan is Geetanjali.

Where- Sector D1, LDA Colony (near Hindukush Marg and Mansarovar), Kanpur – Lucknow Road

6. Banga Bharati Durga Pujo Park (HAL)

A pandal without a theme usually has to explain itself. Banga Bharati Durga Pujo Park doesn't bother. The community runs it, the rituals happen daily, Devi Bhog is offered, and the evening Aarti ends the day the way it always has. It is Bengali Durga Pujo with the volume at its natural setting.

Where- Banga Bharati Durga Pujo Park, 75 Faizabad Road, Sector 5, HAL Colony, Indira Nagar

7. Cantonment Puja and Sewa Samity (Durga Bari)

The Cantonment is meant to be the quiet part of the city, and Durga Bari has never accepted that brief. Traditional rituals, an artistically decorated pandal and cultural programs keep the Cantonment Puja and Sewa Samity's celebration busy in the middle of Sadar Bazar. It is a community effort that looks effortless from outside.

Where- 25, Usman Marg, opposite Rainbow School, Sadar Bazaar, Cantonment

8. Durga Puja Park, Rajajipuram

Rajajipuram doesn't need a calendar reminder for Navratri. It has Durga Puja Park, which the Subhash Talkatora Durga Puja Committee has turned into a cultural hub for fifty years running. The 50th edition arrives from 16th to 20th October 2026, and the neighbourhood will behave as always: arrive early, stay late, call it a quick visit.

Where- Durga Puja Park in D-Block, Rajajipuram

9. South West Sarbojanin Durga Puja

Some pandals are built for the camera. South West Sarbojanin Durga Puja is built for the evening Aarti, which is a very different audience. The idols are finely sculpted, the rituals stay true to Bengali tradition, and the cultural programmes are put on by neighbours for neighbours, as they have been since 1967.

Where- Maharaja Agrasen Inter College, Near Aishbagh Railway Station Overpass, Moti Nagar Rd, Rajendra Nagar

10. Shri Shri Maa Durga Puja Sthal

Regulars at Sri Sri Maa Durga Puja Sthal have stopped asking what the theme will be and started asking which state. Past seasons brought elaborate South Indian temple setups to a Navratri and Durga Puja celebration already known for its scale. The surprise should have worn off by now, but people who have visited for years still walk in like first-timers.

Where- Vastu Khand Road, near Kathauta Jheel / Kathauta Chauraha, Gomti Nagar

11. Anand Nagar Durga Puja

Sixty years is long enough for a locality to forget what its October evenings looked like before this. Anand Nagar Durga Puja, run by the Naveen Sharadiya Utsav Samiti, has been the answer to "what's the plan?" since before most of its regulars had a phone to ask on. The word "Naveen" means new, which is a bold name for a committee this old.

Where- Kalyan Mandap, Jail Road, Anand Nagar, Alambagh
