Silence and chaos rarely agree on anything, yet Lucknow Film Festival Season 4 built its entire theme on them: “Between Silence and Chaos, Stories Emerge.” UP Tourism presents, filmmakers new and seasoned bring the work, and IMAGINARIUM’s “Aao Film Banaye” lets first-timers join in. Selected films are screened, debated, and promoted across LFF’s platforms.

New York has never needed a map, just a saxophone drifting out of a window at midnight. The Penthouse turns two, and instead of cutting a plain cake, it’s shipping the whole city to Lucknow. Sax and the City: New York Edition, with smoky BBQs, juicy burgers, hot dogs, eclectic cocktails and live music doing the soundtrack.

Carnivals usually mean one thing, you go for the rides and stay for the food. The Food Hub, Lucknow, is flipping that order. It’s setting up at CARNIVAL with a spread of flavours you’ll actually remember and the kind of moments that end up in your gallery. Come hungry, bring people who share fries without complaining, and skip the dinner plans at home.

The India International Mega Trade Fair 2026 brings global exhibits, lifestyle products, handicrafts and food to Lucknow, with every stall built to turn a glance into a purchase. Tag your shopping partner, the one who calls it “research.”

Lucknow has waited, and Lucknow is not known for waiting quietly. Arpit Bala finally takes the stage here, bringing his signature vibe, live music and the kind of energy that turns a polite crowd into a loud one. A sequel usually disappoints, but Mehfil-e-Awadh ka Doosra Qissa is betting on the opposite. The lawns of Hotel Savotel turn into an open-air Sufi evening, with soulful music, decor that photographs better than most people do and a setup that lets the night breathe. Pull out your classiest ethnic outfit, the kurta has been waiting for an occasion, and the dupatta has been waiting longer.

Lucknow is a city that walks to the chaat stall and calls it cardio. Spark Run 2026 raises the bar, a marathon at UP Darshan Park where the only thing you’ll chase is a finish line. Runners, joggers and brisk walkers with big plans all belong here. Nobody checks your pace, only whether you showed up.

The Bear, an English play, brings the stage kind to the city, with a title that promises claws and a format that promises conversation. Expect sharp dialogue, perfectly timed pauses and an audience that forgets to check its phone. Switch to silent anyway, the only notifications worth having tonight are the gasps from row three.

Diwali shopping lists are written with great discipline and abandoned by the second stall. La Flea Affair, Diwali Edition ‘26, is back in Lucknow for four days of shopping, food, music and workshops, which is plenty of time to ruin that list properly. Browse the diyas, sample the snacks, make something with your own hands. The festive budget was always more of a suggestion.
