This project, which comes under Lucknow Smart City, will see over 2,000 students from 3 Lucknow schools being given free health check-ups and insurance. These schools include Aminabad Inter College, Kashmiri Mohalla Girls Inter College and Kashmiri Mohalla Montessori School.

A slew of health check-ups for FREE

As part of the campaign, a private healthcare startup named Stufit Approach will conduct General Health check-up, Dental tests, Eyesight test, Cognitive and Behavioral test among other checks on children from three above-mentioned Lucknow schools.

Each of the students will also be provided health insurance costing ₹25,000 for which they won't have to pay any amount as premiums. Furthermore, students will be issued a digital health card, enabling them swift and hassle-free treatment in the future.

Child Psychology workshops will also be conducted

In attempt to further enhance the wellbeing of both teachers and students in Lucknow schools, the program will also feature Child Psychology Workshops, which will be conducted regularly to sensitize the attendees on assuming a holistic approach to wellbeing.

It is noteworthy that said health screening and health insurance program in Lucknow schools is a pilot project and any decision to expand such a campaign will be taken based on the response and effects of the same.
