Efforts have also been made to keep the copying menace at bay.

The Uttar Pradesh Board Examinations have kickstarted and some 59 lakh students are all prepped up to appear for the same. In Lucknow alone, more than 1 lakh students will be taking the exams at around 126 exam centers that have been blocked to host them.

In order to keep the copying malpractise in the UP Board Exams 2023 out of the equation completely, a full-proof security system has been put in place. Herein, question papers will be placed in double-lock almirahs, in tamper-proof envelopes, and the answer sheets will be stitched, among other measures. Arrangements have also been made for live monitoring via webcasting.

Besides some 3 lakh CCTV cameras installed at 8753 centers across the state, STF and LIU teams have also been deployed at exam centers for monitoring purposes.
