At present Uttar Pradesh has 4,83,832 confirmed corona cases and the state has also reported 4,53,458 recoveries as well while the death tally stands at 7,051. Till date, Uttar Pradesh has conducted 1,45,69,242 covid-19 tests and within 24 hours, 1,37,970 samples of citizens have been collected and the Test Positivity Rate is currently marked at 3.3%. On Sunday, UP again ranked at the top spot in the country by testing almost 1.5 crore samples of the virus and these testing provisions have been scaled up, in an effort to arrest the spread, especially during this festive season.

The Additional Chief Secretary, also stated that UP has registered a drop in the number of covid cases but however, extra precautions need to be in place so that the infection doesn’t promulgate further. The authorities also mentioned that citizens have been taking the help of the e-sanjeevani portal for their health concerns.
In the capital of UP, at present, 63,515 confirmed corona cases have been reported and out of this number, 59,478 patients have recuperated. The active case tally stands at 3,151 right now and 886 fatalities have been recorded so far. Spike in cases was also recorded in Rae Bareli Road, Hazratganj, Madiaon, Indira Nagar, Alambagh, Jankipuram, Vrindavan Yojana, Chinhat, Vikasnagar, and Aliganj.
