UP schools reopen today for on-campus administrative works after almost 100 days of closure
As the second wave of the pandemic is retiring gradually in Uttar Pradesh, schools registered under Basic Education Council have revived operations from today, for administrative purposes. As per reports, schools for grades 1 to 8 are being opened for teachers and other school staff, including the employees linked to the Shikshmitra scheme. It is noteworthy that the gates of these educational institutions will remain to be closed for pupils and online classes shall be continue for them.
Virtual classes under Mission Prerna to be continued

Reportedly, the schools were closed for the students on March 20, in view of the escalating infection tallies. Now, it is almost after a period of 100 days that the administrative works related to the functioning of grades 1 to 8 shall be revived, within the campus.
Alternatively, detailed orders have been sent to the respective district officials, stating that children will not be permitted for physical classes on the school campus. Notably, virtual classes will be continued under Mission Prerna, assuring consistent lessons for the young kids.
Monetary compensations for mid-day meals & school uniforms

It is noteworthy that teaching and non-teaching employees of all government schools, including Navodaya Vidyalaya and residential schools, will be allowed to visit the campus from now onwards. Amongst the administrative works, the school authorities will offer transfer certificates to the students who passed class 8th exams recently. Besides, the monetary compensations for the mid-day meals and school dresses will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
