The Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretaries of Home (health and medical education) along with medical experts are to hold a detailed discussion to finalise the action plan in this regard.

The Chief Minister has also initiated an elaborate yet precise system to track, monitor and surveil the situation at the ground level, especially in the districts identified with surged cases. Designated officials have been asked to maximise contact tracing for effective control on Covid infection. "Create micro-containment zones as and where required. He has further directed the officials to target high-risk groups and put them to tests. Imploring further on the testing capacities of the state, the head of the state has also said that one-third of the total COVID tests per day should be conducted through RT-PCR and the rest by rapid antigen method.

For this, he has reiterated on the nomination of nodal officers in all virus stricken districts, with the deployment of special secretary-rank officers.
