With the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 draft voter list now live. This updated list reflects changes to the state’s voter database, with nearly 2.89 crore names removed. But don’t worry, checking if you’re on the list is easy and quick.
The Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, Navdeep Rinwa, has shared a simple process to verify your status after the Election Commission released the updated list. With UP now having over 12.55 crore eligible voters, this revision is important for keeping the electoral roll accurate. So, how do you check if your name is on the list? Here’s a simple guide:

Visit the CEO UP Portal- Head to the CEO UP website. A pop-up window titled “Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026” will appear on the homepage.
Search by EPIC Number- Click on the option “Search your name by EPIC number in draft electoral roll SIR 2026”.
Enter Your EPIC Number- On the next page, input your EPIC number and the Captcha code, then click ‘SEARCH’.
View the Result- If your name is found, the details will include your district, Assembly constituency, polling station, and serial number in the voter list. If not, it’ll say “No result found”.
Alternatively-
You can visit Electoral Search Portal to verify your name. Go to web portal and then search your name by typing your EPIC number in the box named EPIC number and click SEARCH after typing the given Captcha. The result will provide the details of your entry in the draft voter list, if your name is present in the draft voter list, otherwise it will display “No result Found”.
Another option is looking up the list through the ECINET mobile app.
Missed out?
If your name is missing, don’t panic! You can file a claim till February 6, either online or offline. Submit Form 6 for inclusion. If you believe someone’s name should be removed, you can object using Form 7.
Documents required for verification include a government-issued ID, birth certificate, passport, Aadhaar (for identity only), and more.
