Following the Investors’ Summit held in February, 2023, Uttar Pradesh is slated set to get two more multispecialty hospitals. So far, two hospital groups have evinced interest in setting up a 400-bed facility, one in Lucknow, and the other on the Varanasi-Mirzapur border.
“The groups interested in new medical ventures in Uttar Pradesh had participated in the Uttar Pradesh Investors’ Summit-2023. They have now identified the lands where they will build their hospital,” a senior health official stated.
Specialised treatment facilities to come up soon
Making the project a top priority, the state government plans to start the construction as soon as the documentation and departmental permissions are cleared.
A multispecialty hospital is basically a medical treatment facility that offers specialised treatment for various medical conditions. Uttar Pradesh is already home to a couple of renowned multi-specialty hospital chains.
