There's an ol' but true saying which states, "you are what you eat" and your food preferences sometimes can even make or break a relationship! Your food choices are often personal and they actually talk a lot about you as a person. Take someone on a date and you'll know a lot about them, just by the things they order or get customized to their liking.

So here we have listed items that 12 zodiac signs love to eat or drink as per the 'Lucknowi Food Bible' and read further to find out more on this!

A fiery sign, Aries definitely has a thing for spicy af foods with a serving of gossips on the side. So Chicken Kali Mirch, Mutton Khada Masala or Kashmiri Dum Aloo with Mirch Chutney to set the taste buds on fire, is definitely their jam!

An earthy sign, Taureans have a tendency to love well-balanced foods and what's better than pani ke bataashe for them?! A plate of batashe can be khatta, meetha and teekha and it surely suits their personality of having a fine balance of taste.

One of the 3 air signs, Geminis are known to have a dual or often, multiple personalities and exactly why they love chaats which are a mixture of various flavours tied together. But pertaining to their persona, according to the 'Lucknowi Food Bible', they're specifically a fan of dahi badas- the perfect combo of khatta-meetha!

A water baby at heart, Cancerians are all about good food but a bit more about fresh juices and thick shakes to wash it all down! They have an equal affinity towards all the food items but offer them a drink and watch the tables turn. So we definitely know that lassis and freak shakes are their go-to options.

Heard the song "uff uff mirchi, haye haye mirchi"? Yeah, that's a Leo's food anthem. This fiery sign loves mirchi in just about anything so they're more of a chhole bhature person with mirchi, nimbu and pyaaz on the side, for that extra zing!

Virgos are again one of the signs from the earthy lot of 3 and they too, enjoy a taste of the finer and balanced things in life. This sign particularly tends to enjoy biryani and kebab-parathe and you can even spot them binging on a pot of biryani at 2AM as a snack!

A part of the air signs, Librans are a deep-dyed makkhan person- airy, light on the tummy and simply delish are the things which they go for! They simply can't wait for winters to gobble this delicacy and for the other months, they prefer kulfis over anything else.

The last one of the water signs, Scorpios are surely 'iced tea' people who love their drinks as much as Tyrion Lannister does. You can also give them a perfectly crushed and shaken mojito or a cup of chai and watch them open up to you with stories over these drinks like never before!

The last of the fire signs, Sagittarians have a knack for foods which will make their eyes watery with heat and happiness. If Carolina Reaper had a zodiac sign, this would be it! To keep their tummies full, you'll often come across Sagis binging on baati or litti chokha, dipped generously in hari mirch ki chutney or finishing up a plate of Chilli Chicken without a sip of water or regret!

Usually peak winter borns are Capricorns and on top of it, they're an earth sign too! This surely makes this sign go for momos and soup as their favourite comfort snack option, over anything else. Since Capris are a bit on the hot-headed side as well, they prefer their momos with a glob of chilli chutney on the sides.

Another one of the air signs, Aquarians love shelling out money on quick snacks more than meals. You'll often find them at QSRs and cafes more than restaurants and dhabas. Rolls, shawarmas, samosas, are simply their first choice over proper elaborate 5 or 7 course meals.

The last of the water signs, Pisces love beverages and it's no shocker to see them downing incessant cups of chai or coffee at anytime of the day! They particularly love exploring when it comes to tea and for them, any kinda chai- be it masala, Kashmiri, nimbu or any other, is as good as the traditional ones. A true chaisplorer at heart.
