Andheri's Newest: Roxanne’s is the place you’ve been looking for, without even knowing it!
There’s something about walking into a place that feels like it’s always been a part of your routine, even though it’s brand new. That’s Roxanne’s for you. Peninsula Hospitality’s latest spot in Andheri East has that instant “where have you been all my life?” feeling.
With its art-deco vibes and cosy, lived-in charm, it’s the kind of place that naturally shifts from a chill daytime hangout to a buzzing evening hangout, making you feel like you've been coming here for years, even if it’s your first time. So, what’s all the buzz about? Let’s dive in!
The vibe is familiar, and the menu is for real!
This newest spot in Andheri East is an all-day diner and bar that somehow feels both brand new and like it's been holding down the block forever. The retro-deco setup isn't trying too hard, just enough art-deco flair, mood lighting, and a central bar where a VDJ spins rock and retro tracks you actually want to hear. No algorithm playlists. Just good music doing its thing in the background while you do yours. "We wanted a place that feels full and alive at every hour of the day," says Shashank Shetty, Director at Peninsula Hospitality.
The food's where things get interesting. It's global without the usual "fusion confusion", Modern American, Asian, Continental, all playing nicely together with a robata grill holding it down. Immigrant-inspired in the realest sense, flavours that make sense because that's how people actually eat now. Layered, familiar, zero gimmicks.
Drinks follow the same logic. Cocktails that don't need a backstory to enjoy. Want a Passionfruit Picante with bite? Done. Feeling a Melon Breeze moment? Easy. And if you're not drinking, half the menu flips to mocktails without losing the plot. Mango Stack, Basil Boulevard, they're not trying to convince you of anything. They just work.
Some places just fit. This is one of them.
So here's the thing, Roxanne's isn't trying to blow your mind or break the internet. It's just really, really good at being the place you actually want to go to. Lunch alone? Perfect. Night out with friends? Even better. It's one of those rare spots that gets you coming back without even realising you've become a regular. So go see it yourself, follow Roxxane to stay in the loop, and prepare to add it to your weekly rotation.
