From hearty Assamese thalis and authentic Lebanese wraps to fresh-out-of-the-oven Italian pizzas and Japanese classics, April’s line-up has outdone itself.

1. Nostalgia Take 3

With a whole lot of warmth, Nostalgia Take 3 has now rolled into Versova. Brainchild of Ranji Trophy cricketer, Sinan Khader, this outlet is inspired by the golden days of Bollywood. Here, every corner whispers tales of yesteryears, blending sepia-tinted vintage decor with touches of childhood nostalgia—think '90s movies, beloved magazines, handwritten notes, and cassettes. And the best part? The menu is as friendly to your wallet as it is to your taste buds.

2. Gaijin

Say hello to Gaijin – Mumbai’s bold new Japanese restaurant with a rebellious twist! Meaning outsider in Japanese, Gaijin blends Japanese techniques with Indian culinary flair. Led by Chef Anand Morwani, the menu is all about hot and cold plates. Sip on cocktails crafted by Varun Sudhakar and Nischal Suman, where Japanese ingredients meet global spirits. Set across two levels designed by Spiro Spero, think Tokyo alleyways, vinyl beats, and a whole lot of character.

3. Bokka Coffee

Bokka Coffee’s got a fresh new home in Bandra itself. Think café-meets-bistro vibes, serving reimagined wholesome dishes. Dreamt by coffee lovers for coffee lovers, this place takes your brew and mood to the next level. Tuck into goodies like the Mafia Bowl, Harvest Salad with Mango & Feta, Smoked Paprika Chicken, or good old Sautéed Veggies. Fresh, flavourful and full of surprises, Bokka is the answer to your breakfast, brunch, or coffee cravings.

4. Bene Pizza and Pastry

Menu designed by Chef Sana Kabra and Chef Simon, Bene Pizza and Pastry serves delicious food without bullying your stomach or wallet. Thanks to the clever BIGA technique, the dough is light, airy, and packed with character (none of that heavy, sleepy feeling here). Must-tries include The Bombay Onion Masala Pizza, Truffle Mushroom Pizza and the Tiramisu Tart. At Bène, Italy’s soul meets Bombay’s – and your tastebuds are in for a treat.

5. Jaago Cafe 

Jaago Cafe is the new early bird on the block, flinging open its doors from 7 am. With clean, modern interiors that’ll have you swooning before your first sip, Jaago it’s a whole mood. Think cracking cappuccinos, kombuchas, smoothies, coolers, shakes, teas and more. It’s the kind of place where everyone is either working or talking about work — all fuelled by seriously good brews.

6. Singju

From the hills of North East India to the heart of Mumbai, welcome Singju! A place which brings along interesting North Eastern and Himalayan cuisines to your plate. From Manipuri and Naga Thai to Assamese and Nepali Thalis, alongside comforting bowls of fried rice, momos, ramen and more — the menu is a road trip through the North East. Even though the flavours may feel new, you’ll be amazed by the variety and richness of the ingredients.

7. Zaatar w Zeit

Born in Lebanon in 1999, Zaatar W Zeit is has finally landed in Mumbai, bringing a fresh spin on Lebanese flavours, way beyond just hummus and falafel. Brought to India by Passion Cuisine, Zaatar W Zeit is all about fresh, flavour-packed eats like za’atar manakeesh, hearty wraps, zingy salads, and plenty of veggie and vegan-friendly options. 8. Moxy Sky

Part of the Marriott Bonvoy family, Moxy Mumbai has just dropped Moxy Sky, a rooftop bar, complete with panoramic city views, punchy cocktails, and a high-energy vibe. Sip on an eclectic mix of tipples, nibble on bites inspired by Asian, Mediterranean and modern flavours, and dance under the stars like nobody’s watching. The nights are loud, the drinks are bold, and the only thing higher than the rooftop is the energy!

9. Muze

Brainchild of sister duo Saloni and Anannya, Muze is their most personal project yet, inspired by globe-trotting adventures and a serious love for good food. Expect familiar favourites with a twist, crafted by Head Chef Thevar Chandrahasan Pandian. Step inside and you will enter into a 1920s dream — think deep jewel tones, flamingos and tigers, geometric patterns, and Art Deco glamour dripping from every corner.

10. Pause - Your Everyday Cafe

Pause is the kind of spot you simply can’t stroll past. The menu, designed by Goa-based pastry Chef Pooja Masurkar, features Mexican, Middle Eastern, Asian, and European influences, all while ditching refined sugar and wheat for millets, dates, and khandsari. Designed by Studio 6158, its façade is framed by two bold Aegean blue brackets — part street art and part seating. The name ‘Pause…’ trails off intentionally, inviting you to take a moment, make it yours, and maybe stay a little longer than you meant to.
