On July 15, Mumbai Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory for the Ashadhi Ekadashi Yatra in Wadala, anticipating a significant influx of devotees visiting Vitthal Mandir (Prati Pandharpur). To facilitate smoother traffic flow and enhance connectivity, these restrictions will be enforced for three days from 6 pm on July 16 until 8 am on July 18.
In view of ‘AASHADHI EKADASHI’ yatra on 17th June, large number of devotees would gather in the vicinity of Vitthal Mandir (Prati Pandharpur), Wadala causing traffic congestion on the roads.

No Entry Zones for Ashadhi Ekadashi Yatra in Wadala:

Dadar TT till Tilak Road and Junction of Katrak Road

Mancherji Joshi Road and Jam-e-Jamshedji Road. In addition to this, entry will be restricted at the Junction of Jam-e-Jamshedji Road till Five Garden and Junction of Tilak Road (North to South)

Katrak Road till Devid Baretto Circle and Junction of GD Ambekar Marg and Tilak Road (North to South)

Traffic will be restricted on G.D. Ambedkar Marg from Sarfare Chowk (junction of G.D. Ambedkar Marg and Naigaon Cross Road/MMGS Marg) towards Katrak Road

Tilak Road extension from Sahkar Nagar Galli towards Katrak Road (East to West)

Parsee Colony Road No. 13 – 14, the junction of Lady Jahangir Road, and the junction of Katrak Road, along with Dinshaw Road and the junction of Mancherji Joshi Marg and Katrak Road

Additionally, traffic movement will be diverted to Dr B.A.road [North bound via Ruia Junction]. Mumbai Traffic Police has urged commuters to take note of these restrictions and plan their travel accordingly.
