Following the heavy rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year, Konkan Railway (KR) has decided to run 14 Christmas/New Year specials between Mumbai’s Panvel and Goa’s Madgaon from December 22-31. This includes twelve trips of Train No. 01427 and 014228 and two of Train No. 01429 and 30.
Moreover, the trains will constitute of 22 LHB coaches, including 6 AC 3-tier economy, 4 sleeper class, 12 general second class coaches and a guard’s brake van.
Train no. 01427 Panvel – Madgaon Jn Special:

Departure Time: 09:10 PM (every Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Train no. 01428 Madgaon – Panvel Special:

Departure Time: 08:00 AM (every Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Arrival Time: 08:15 PM PM (same day)
On the journey, these trains will make scheduled halts at Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, and Karmali.

Further, to ring in the New Year, Train No. 01429/30 Panvel – Madgaon specials, will run two additional trips.
