Mumbai‘s famous Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF) is set to return for its 25th edition, running from January 25 to February 2. This year’s theme, ‘Silver’, is a tribute to the festival’s legacy and its role in transforming the city into a cultural playground. Organised by the Kala Ghoda Association, the festival promises a lineup of events that will leave you inspired and utterly mesmerised.

KGAF’s Silver Jubilee Celebration!

Opening the festivities, Silver Sitaare Fusion will take centre stage, showcasing 25 diverse dance styles performed by 55 artists and institutions that have shaped KGAF's history. Further, the festival will debut the KGAF Anthem, composed by Shantanu Moitra.

To mark the milestone, KGAF is releasing a coffee table book that takes readers on a nostalgic journey through its 25 years of cultural brilliance. With contributions from luminaries like Brinda Miller, Ranjit Hoskote, and Sabyasachi Mukherjee, this beautifully curated volume reflects on the festival’s growth and impact.

With over 300 programmes across 15 verticals, the festival brings together more than 25 venues in the precinct to breathe life into the edition. Verticals at the festival include children, cinema, dance, food, heritage walks, lifestyle, literature, music, stalls, stand-up comedy, street, theatre, urban design & architecture, visual arts, and workshops.
