Check out these traffic restrictions in Mumbai amid G-20 Summit Meet

Mumbai is all set to host the First Development Working Group G20 Meet from December 13, which will witness delegates pouring in from countries like Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, United States and more. We all are well aware how messed-up Mumbai’s traffic can be. Acting on this, traffic restrictions in Mumbai will be effective from December 12.

The G20 meeting will take place at Mumbai’s Hotel Grand Hyatt in Santa Cruz (East), which comes under the jurisdiction of Vakola Traffic Department. They have imposed the following restrictions on vehicular traffic from December 12-16:

• Excluding emergency service vehicles, there will be no entry for any other vehicles coming from Hanuman Mandir, Old CST Road, Nehru Road to Vakola Pipe Line Road towards the hotel.

• Entry of all vehicles except emergency ones, will be barred to the hotel from Patuck College road to Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar Road.

• Vehicular traffic coming from Hanuman Mandir, Nehru Road will be directed towards military junction and further to Hansbugra road or Ambedkar junction.

• Vehicles coming from Old CST road will proceed by taking a right turn from Hansbugra junction and proceed to Vakola junction towards Santa Cruz station, Nehru Road or Western Express Highway.
