The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) released the ICSE and ISC semester II exam date sheet for all subjects. Following the CBSE's practical exam announcement, CISCE, on Thursday, announced the dates for the semester two board exams for classes 10 and 12 students for the year 2021-22. The said papers are set to commence from April 25, 2022, in offline mode.

As per the previous notification from the board, the tentative exam date was set for the last week of April, and in addition, the notice also asked the schools under the CISCE board to not conduct the Pre-board exam unless the syllabus has been thoroughly revised.

Following the released date sheet, all students appearing for the exams in 2022 are expected to take note of these dates and prepare for the exams accordingly. CISCE has also mentioned that all papers shall be held for a duration of 1.5 hours. While the ICSE exams are set to be held from 11:00 AM between April 25 and May 20, ISC exams will be held at 2:00 PM from April 25 to June 6.

Notably, the Maharashtra state board (MSBSHSE) Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) class 12 exam has begun today and will continue till April 30. The HSC exam will be held in two shifts, the first shift will start in the morning from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, while the afternoon shift will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

As per the norm, both ICSE and ISC students will get additional 10 additional minutes to read the question papers for their 90-minute exams. However, exam centres have not been allotted yet. The students appearing in their board exams have been asked to follow the mandatory COVID-19 guidelines making the entry into the exam centre without a face mask and hand sanitiser prohibitory.
