Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is ramping up security for its forthcoming board exams, with the aim of ensuring a fair process. According to officials, Class 10 exams will be held from February 21 to March 17, while Class 12 exams are scheduled from February 11 to March 11. Here’s a breakdown of the key measures:
Sensitive board exam centres across the state will be monitored from the sky. Drones will patrol areas to detect any malpractices or disturbances.
A facial recognition system will verify credentials of centre directors and supervisors.
Video recordings will be conducted outside exam centres to provide further oversight.
All photocopying centres within a 500-metre radius of exam venues will be shut during the exams.
Section 144 will be enforced around exam centres, prohibiting gatherings.
District officials are tasked with ensuring that all facilities are ready a day before the exams begin.
Strict legal action will be taken against defaulters under Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act of 1982
