Grammy-winning global pop sensation Enrique Iglesias touched down in Mumbai on Tuesday, sparking a frenzy of excitement among music lovers. The Spanish heartthrob is set to perform at MMRDA Grounds in Bandra-Kurla Complex on October 29 and 30, marking his first Indian concert since 2012.
Enrique Iglesias charms Mumbai with a "Namaste"
Dressed casually in a grey t-shirt, blue jeans, and a cap, Enrique charmed everyone at Kalina Airport by greeting paparazzi with a traditional "Namaste." Videos of his arrival quickly went viral, with fans dancing to his iconic hits like "Hero" and "Bailando."
Tickets for both Mumbai shows sold out within hours, prompting organisers to add the second date due to overwhelming demand. The tour also includes stops in Bengaluru and Delhi.
"I've missed performing in India. The fans there are some of the most loyal and passionate in the world," Enrique shared, expressing his excitement about returning after two decades since his first 2004 show.
Enrique Iglesias plans a Taj Mahal visit
Adding to the thrill, reports suggest Enrique plans to extend his stay to finally visit the Taj Mahal, a bucket-list item he missed during previous trips. Indo-Canadian singer Jonita Gandhi and EDM duo Progressive Brothers will open the shows, promising an unforgettable musical experience for Indian fans!
