Take, for instance, the story of Sahil Singh. This 24-year-old from Mumbai recently captivated Instagram with his remarkable transformation from a Swiggy delivery partner to a fashion runway model. The moment we caught a glimpse of his journey, we were drawn in, eager to explore the story behind the stunning metamorphosis.
Delivering catwalk dreams!
In a conversation with Knocksense, when asked what inspired him, Sahil shared that his modelling dreams were sparked in 2012 when he was 12 years old and spotted a model poster. At that time, he was hustling on Mumbai roads, selling wallets.
After finishing school, Sahil’s journey took him through the labyrinth of life in Mumbai. He enrolled in college while juggling various odd jobs, including working as a Swiggy delivery agent from afternoon until night. He also worked as a of sales executive at Mangao Mark.
In 2019, he took part in his first fashion show in college and realised his passion for the field. Five years and 200 auditions later, Sahil finally snagged his first modelling gig through Black Canvas Agency with Streax in 2024.
