In the midst of our busy lives, where every day feels like a race against time, we heard Shreepad calling us to take a break. And we had to attend this relaxing call.

Located in Lokhandwala, Shreepad is an Ayurvedic foot massage centre. But what makes this quaint parlour special, is its Kansya Thali therapy. This technique is based on ancient Indian reflexology practices and is known to reduce stress and promote sleep. Read on to know more!

What is Kansya Thali therapy?

Kansa Thali foot therapy, an ancient Ayurvedic practice, involves massaging the feet with a metal bowl, typically made of brass or copper. These metals are thought to offer health benefits and this therapy aims to enhance blood flow, alleviate stress, and reduce physical discomfort.

Abhishek Nanekar shares insights about Shreepad

Abhishek Nanekar, a therapist and the heart behind Shreepad, passionately spoke to Knocksense about the therapy's effectiveness. "Based on the traditional way of massage practised for over a thousand years in India, Kansya Thali Ayurvedic Foot Massage Therapy is truly transformative, and the best part? It comes with no side effects."

Nanekar, a certified therapist with a Diploma in Acupressure, has brought innovation to this ancient method by introducing a contemporary addition - a massage machine. He elaborates, "Recognising that time is a rare commodity in today's fast-paced world, our contemporary approach integrates the use of a machine to optimise time efficiency while maintaining the core principles of this traditional therapy. Moreover, we adhere to the use of exclusively pure oils and ghee ,throughout the procedure, ensuring a holistic and authentic experience."

Moreover, Shreepad not only excels in Kansyathali Ayurvedic foot massage therapy but also offers South Korean massages.
