Ever since its launch, the Jio World Centre in Mumbai has been unfurling new ventures inside its premises. Termed as the largest convention centre of India, the Jio World Centre is positioned in the Bandra Kurla Complex area of Mumbai and is now about to bring up a new multi-disciplinary cultural facility.
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) will be a three-story building with best-in-class facilities for both visual and performing arts. For the public, the gates will open on March 31, 2023.
What will the cultural centre include?
The facilities at the NMACC are expected to be nothing less than world-class. The three-story building will reportedly include multiple performance venues namely The Grand Theatre, The Studio Theatre and The Cube. Furthermore, NMACC will also include a separate four-storey arthouse that will accommodate international and domestic art events and galleries.
Apart from NMACC, the Jio World Centre includes a conference centre, retail, multiple five-star hospitality establishments and more. With the inauguration of the cultural centre, the Jio World Centre will also serve performers, artists, musicians, enthusiasts and other creatives by providing an additional platform.
3-day inugural event to mark the launch of NMACC
NMACC will host an extravagant three-day launch event from March 31 to April 1, 2023, with live performances, music and fashion shows, art exhibitions and more.
Here is a list of all the lined-up events:

Civilization to Nation event (March 31): A sensory narrative of Indian culture expressed through a showcase of classical dance, music and puppetry.

India in Fashion event (April 1): A special exhibit showcasing the influence of India’s traditions in textiles, jewellery and surface ornamentation on global fashion between 18th-21st century.

Sangam Confluence (April 2): An art exhibit which will be hosted in the Arthouse of NMACC, showcasing the works of 11 esteemed contemporary artists along with international artists inspired by Indian art.
Once ready, this new multi-disciplinary cultural facility is expected to become a hub of all activities in Mumbai. Hosting grand events, artists, brands and more, this is something Mumkaikars, are looking forward to.
