Sewri-Worli Connector Project overview
The Elphinstone Road Overbridge’s reconstruction is part of the Sewri-Worli Elevated Connector project, undertaken by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). This 4.5 km, four-lane elevated corridor aims to link the eastern and western coasts of Mumbai, connecting Worli to Sewri. It will serve as a crucial link between the BMC’s Coastal Road, the Eastern Express Highway, and the Sewri-Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link.
