Pushpotsav 2025 | Starting Jan 31, Mumbai’s 28th flower show to celebrate national symbols
Mumbai’s 28th edition of the much-awaited flower show is set to bloom at Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden from January 31 to February 2, 2025, organised by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Tree Authority. This year’s Pushpotsav promises to be a visual and educational treat with a theme that celebrates India's national symbols, all crafted from flowers. Expect stunning replicas of the Ashoka Chakra, the national flag, the peacock, the lotus, and much more.
The event will also feature nearly 5,000 plants, including beautiful flowers, fruit-bearing plants, and medicinal herbs, creating an enchanting experience for all ages.
Following the main event, one can also participate in a comprehensive three-day Horticulture Workshop from February 7-9, covering everything from butterfly gardens to sustainable practices. The workshop, priced at ₹1,000, promises hands-on experience in various gardening techniques, with certification provided by the BMC.
