Royal Jordanian Airlines has made a comeback to India after 13 years, launching direct flights between Mumbai and Amman. The new service currently operates four days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

This year-round route is serviced by the state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo, offering 12 business class and 140 economy class seats. Passengers can enjoy modern comforts, including in-flight entertainment, Wi-Fi, and premium leather seating, making the journey both convenient and comfortable.

Daily Mumbai flights & Delhi route coming soon

This new year-round route connects Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport with Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport, marking a major boost in India–Jordan connectivity. Indian travellers booking holiday packages now benefit from visa-free entry to Jordan, making the journey smoother and more appealing.

Royal Jordanian plans to scale up the Mumbai-Amman service to daily flights by next year and launch direct flights to Delhi in the coming months. The airline also offers onward connections to over 50 destinations across West Asia, the Gulf, and North Africa. With iconic sites like Petra, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum just five hours away, Jordan hopes to double Indian tourist arrivals, up from 75,000 in 2023 by 2027.

To fuel this growth, Royal Jordanian is partnering with travel giants like MakeMyTrip and Thomas Cook to promote curated packages. With modern onboard comforts and simplified access, Jordan is positioning itself as a top Middle Eastern destination for Indian tourists.
