To ease the rush of passenger traffic and provide better convenience, Western Railway has announced three special trains on special fare routes between Bandra Terminus and key destinations like Jaipur, Bikaner, and Ajmer. These trains are scheduled to run from January 2025, offering much-needed relief during the busy travel season.

The Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Weekly Special (Train No. 09724/09723) will run every Thursday and Wednesday respectively, providing direct connectivity between the two cities. The train will cover multiple stops including Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, and Ajmer. It departs from Bandra Terminus at 09:30 hrs and reaches Jaipur the next day.
Another addition is the Bandra Terminus – Bikaner Weekly Special (Train No. 04712/04711). Running on Thursdays and Wednesdays, this train will also have various coach options, making stops in cities like Surat, Vadodara, and Jaipur.
Lastly, the Bandra Terminus – Ajmer Superfast Special (Train No. 09654/09653), running every Sunday, is an ideal option for passengers heading to Ajmer. With several halts along the way, it ensures smooth travel to this popular destination.
The booking for all these three trains are open at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. These special trains will feature a mix of premium and general coaches, including First AC (on select routes), AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class compartments.
