Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026: Registrations now open for 21st edition
The Tata Mumbai Marathon, one of Asia's most prestigious running events, is set to return for its 21st edition on January 18, 2026. Registrations for the World Athletics Gold Label race are now open, with the event set to commence from the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
New initiatives celebrate first-time runners and families
This year’s Tata Mumbai Marathon introduces exciting new initiatives to celebrate both first-time runners and families. The “TMM Debutants” category honours those taking on their first full marathon with special bibs reading “My First 42.195 KM” as a symbol of their determination. In addition, the “Home Run Squad” recognises families running together in any category, providing exclusive digital photo frames to commemorate their shared finish-line experience.
Adrian Terron from Tata Sons stated that the Tata Mumbai Marathon has evolved from a sporting event into a powerful movement that energises the city and inspires people globally. Beyond the race, the marathon continues to spark vital societal discussions on topics such as sustainability, gender equality, healthcare, and education.
