Maharashtra to preserve London’s ‘India House’ as a memorial to Savarkar

BMC is set to build a tunnel-shaped aquarium at Byculla Zoo, featuring two walk-through acrylic glass tunnels for a 180-degree view of India’s marine ecosystem. The aquarium will showcase native fish and coral reefs, modelled after similar attractions in Dubai and Singapore. The ₹62 crore project, aimed at promoting India’s marine life, is expected to open by 2027. The zoo’s Humboldt penguin enclosure will also expand to house 40 penguins.
Mumbai Metro Lines 2A, 7 may see fare changes, committee to review
The Maharashtra government has proposed the formation of a Fare Fixation Committee (FFC) for Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and 7, marking the first step toward a possible fare hike.
