Mumbai’s first elevated nature trail at Malabar Hill opened to the public on Sunday, March 30. Inspired by Singapore’s Tree Top Walk, the 485-metre-long, 2.4-metre-wide walkway offers visitors a unique experience of strolling above lush greenery while enjoying panoramic city views.
In two days, over 3,400 visitors explored the trail, which runs through Kamala Nehru Park and Ferozshah Mehta Garden. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the trail welcomed 1,053 visitors on the first day, generating ₹26,925 in ticket sales. On Monday, 2,346 visitors visited, contributing ₹60,300 in revenue, with several bookings already made for the coming days.

Bookings: Visitors can also reserve their one-hour slots online at naturetrail.mcgm.gov.in. The slot can be booked 15 days in advance.
The entry and exit points are located at Siri Road, behind Kamala Nehru Park. To prevent overcrowding, only 200 visitors will be allowed on the walkway at any given time. No food is allowed on the trail to prevent attracting monkeys. However, visitors can carry water bottles.
Entry to South Mumbai’s upcoming Malabar Hill Walkway will NOT be free!
