New non-stop AC buses to run between Lucknow-Delhi, will reduce travel duration by 2 hours!

The trial run of a new non-stop AC bus service was started by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation in November.

After the success of the trial run, the UPSRTC has decided to run two new buses between Lucknow-Delhi and one new bus between Agra-Lucknow.

The non-stop AC bus will depart from Lucknow at 10 pm, while the other bus will depart from Anand Vihar in Delhi at 8 pm.

While the regular buses take about 10hours to reach Delhi and vice-versa, this new non-stop buses will have just one stop at Kanpur and will reach its destination in 8 hours.

The 2 hours saved on this road journey, will further encourage people to travel by road. The tickets are priced at around Rs 1700, which is a bit expensive than the regular tickets.

UPSRTC is also exploring possibilities of using Lucknow-Agra expressway, which will further reduce the travel time.

A non-stop AC bus service has also been started on Agra-Lucknow route

After the successful trial run of non-stop buses on Lucknow-Delhi route, the UPSRTC has decided to replicate the same model on Lucknow-Agra route as well.

The non-stop bus will leave from Lucknow at 11 pm and will take 6 hours to reach Agra.

The bus only has one stop in Kanpur for refreshment. More new non-stop buses can be started soon between these busy routes in the first half of 2018.
