“And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.” – Mark Anthony
International Women’s Day has been dedicated to reflect on the achievements of women and to celebrate our power- how far we’ve come on issues of gender parity and more.
So to commemorate this day, we’ve picked up 4 fierce and feisty women from Lucknow, who’ve made it big and how!
Nazish and Insha- Founder of Talking Toe
This story is on the lines of Disney’s Frozen because Nazish and Insha have proved that you don’t need a man to save you- it can be your own sister! The story of Talking Toe covers the basics of girl power and how Nazish and Insha have made it big through their Instagram account!
Talking Toe is an Instagram based shopping portal where they actually sell good ol’ Kolhapuri chappals with an urban twist! Their customizations are simply stellar and these pocket-friendly durable slip-ons are a must-have! Nazish and Insha have been working hard and proving to us everyday, that nothing is impossible even if you’ve faced betrayals which have shaken your core- just don’t lose your determination.
They proudly live by- “agar dil se chaho aur sachai ho, toh puri kainat tumhare kaam ke liye lag jati hai.” (If you really aspire to achieve something honestly, the whole universe conspires to give it to you eventually.)
#Sistersbeforemisters and we completely agree to this!
