Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Are you a traveller with endless stories? Do you just have an urge to spill out every detail from your solo travels? If your answer is ‘yes’, then we've got something lined up for you.

At the event "House of Stories", you get a chance to relive your adventures and share your experiences with a set of like-minded people who'll travel to places you have been to, through your stories.

What's buzzing?

At this unique, cozy event, you can let out your inner storyteller. If you aren't into telling stories, then you can be a part of the audience and take a trip to uncharted lands through someone else's experience.

The best part about this storytelling event is that you can get totally comfortable as if you were in your own house. Sitting around a makeshift fireplace and hearing interesting travel stories, sipping on a hot coffee- sounds like the perfect dream, doesn't it?

What can you do here?

It's all about getting to know one another, chilling around and conversation. That's pretty much what you will get here- the experience is undeniably cozy, comfy and oh-so-inviting!

For those of you who have a story to tell, you can register at this link, give a bit of background and prepare something that is about 5 minutes long. It doesn't matter where your story takes the audience- it should be captivating enough to leave an effect on the audience.

About Tape a Tale

In the past, Tape a Tale has hosted similar events and all of them have pretty much the same idea- to bring people together! Through their events, they urge people to look at various perspectives of life and eventually become more enlightened and learn from others' experiences.

This time, it should be rather exciting because, let's face it, travelling is always fun and every trip you take will have a memorable story that you just want the world to know about.

Knock Knock

For all the adventurers out there, who have faced some immense hurdles and learnt from their experiences, this is the place to tell it to the world. Even those of you who don't have a story to tell will enjoy this event full of adventurous tales from across the city.

Internet services suspended in parts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur!

The restriction has been imposed to prevent malpractice in the RPSC RAS Preliminary exam, scheduled for today.

On account of the RPSC RAS Preliminary exams scheduled today, the Rajasthan Government has suspended mobile internet, bulk SMS and social media services in certain parts of the state. These services will remain suspended from 9 AM to 1 PM in the Jaipur Commissonerate Area. Apart from Jaipur, the restrictions will also be active in the Ajmer, Bhilwara and Nagaur districts from 6 AM to 1:30 PM, and in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur districts from 8 AM to 1 PM.

All Mumbai local services to return to tracks from October 28

While 100% of services are being resumed, public access to the suburban local trains is still restricted.

In a bid to streamline and regulate the increased passenger load in local trains, the Central and Western Railways have decided to resume 100% suburban services in the Mumbai division, starting October 28. Notably, the Railways have clarified that though all services are being restored, the existing travel restrictions for the general public will continue. Only those recognised and allowed by the government and Ministry of Railways are permitted to travel in the local trains, in accordance with the established standard operating procedures (SOP).

The 16th National Aerobics, Fitness and Hip Hop Championships are all set to take place in Lucknow from 14-16th of January. The championships will be hosted at the KD Singh Babu Stadium. To promote the sport in the state, a new executive committee for the Uttar Pradesh Aerobics Association has also been formed. The UP Aerobics Association has been given the permission to host the event after receiving recognition from the UP Olympic Association.

COVID cases have surged by 46% in Indore

Amid the overall pandemic dip, a new subvariant of the COVID-19 Delta mutation threatens to spill new infections and troubles, especially for the people of Indore. As per a genome sequencing report of the National Centre of Disease Control (NCDC), around 7 cases of AY.4 - a sublineage of the Delta variant- have been detected in the district. Notably, the new mutation is presently a 'variant of interest' and not much is known about its transmissibility, virulence and overall severity.

New war rooms to be set up in Lucknow, Kanpur & other major cities in UP to combat air pollution

The use of all 10-year-old diesel and 15-years-old petrol vehicles has been strictly prohibited.

Gearing up for the fight against air pollution, the govt of Uttar Pradesh has decided to set up war rooms in Lucknow, Kanpur and other major cities. The new infrastructure will be set up under the authority of the Road Dust Management and will keep a check on various sources of pollution. As per reports, similar war rooms will also be set up in NCR districts to improve the overall air quality in UP.
