Big flavours from Punjab

The quality and the taste of dishes served here make the joint quite unique. Though they serve your regular everyday cafe grub here and it is quite delicious, we would especially recommend the many desi dishes these people serve.

If you come to the Punjabi Chaap Corner and don't try the amazing chaap they serve here, it would be nothing less than a crime. We loved their afghani chaap, chur-chur chaap as well as malai chap, we also found the paneer tikka, special boti soya tikka and the malai mushroom tikka to be exceptional.

They also serve great rolls and main course dishes such as cream chaap roll, chat patta chap roll, kadhai paneer, handi chaap, al makhani and veg chilli chicken.

If you're looking for a great hangout spot where you can have some delicious grub, Punjabi Chaap Corner is where you need to be. The food is pretty good, the prices are also pretty reasonable, so you won't feel like you're overspending. If you're not a fan of spicy food, better avoid dishes that are named with the prefix achari, masala or chatpata.

Parents of students in Jaipur rejoice as the Rajasthan govt orders to waive off fees by 30-40%

The concerned department has also submitted a report with SOP guidelines to the Chief Minister's Office, requesting suggestions on reopening of schools from November 2.

Bringing a sigh of relief amidst the parents in the state amidst this ongoing pandemic, the Rajasthan government has ordered the CBSE affiliated private schools to waive off their tuition fees by 30% for class 9 to 12. Along with it, the schools which are affiliated with the state board, have to slash their fees by 40%, for the same grades.

Along side this, the Progressive Association School of Rajasthan, which filed a plea against the High Court's decision ordering 30% deduction in school tuition fee, was not in support of this conclusion. "This decision is not right, it is discriminatory. If it is implemented, we will go against it to the Supreme Court. How will the schools be able to pay salaries to teachers and staff if fees are slashed by 30 and 40 per cent?"

The authorities of Uttar Pradesh have launched a Higher Education Digital Library, that will help the students to access the best of related content, at no cost at all. Pupils who are admitted in higher education institutions in any part of the state or the country, will have access to the audio-video lectures and study materials, which have been curated by experts. Over 61,500 people have already visited the portal till now.

High onion prices in Goa make citizens teary; cheaper costs to be provided through PDS

As per reports, the authorities are in the process of sourcing supplies of onion via National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India.

Indian kitchens are nothing without their basket of onions and it is a staple in almost everyone's regular diets. So when the prices of onions hit a staggering ₹80-90/kg, straight from ₹50-60/kg and even less in some areas, it left the citizens teary eyed. Keeping in sight the surging prices of onions in the state, Goa's Chief Minister on Wednesday stated that the vegetable which is an essential commodity, would be provided at a cheaper cost via the state's public distribution system network.
