The shooting of Emraan Khan-starrer Cheat India has now come to a close in Lucknow and students of Amity University were thrilled to see the actor shoot some scenes on the campus.

The news of the shooting in the college premises filled both teachers and students with excitement and thus a huge crowd emerged at the amphitheatre, during the scene. The film is being directed by Soumik Sen and is based on corruption in the education sector.

The actor spent Eid in Lucknow over famous kebabs!

The actor was in the city for more than a month and even spent Eid here with his close friends. The team also made sure to relish the famous Galawat and Kakori kebabs, Sheermal Nihari and Brown rice biryani, during their stay.

Lucknow will yet again be seen in another Bollywood flick!

It is no doubt that Lucknow has now become the preferred shooting location for filmmakers and the major credit for this goes to the UP film policy. The deal-breaking UP film policy makes shooting in the state very cost-effective, which acts as an advantage for all film-makers!

With a growing number of movies being shot in the city, the locals, technicians, hospitality partners have all got accustomed to the scenario and environment, which makes the process smooth.

UP is also a true representation of the Hindi heartland and ‘Cheat India’ is a very rooted film, so Lucknow serves as the perfect location.
