15 trains originating from Indore to be equipped with LHB coaches

The Railway Administration has decided to upgrade about 15 trains originating from Indore with the new ergonomic Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches. The new rakes will make the commute more comfortable for the passengers by reducing the train travel time. As per reports, the LHB coaches can race past at 110 kmph, adding more speed to the journey. The trains will pick up acceleration after crossing Nagada town.

​Dehradun-Indore Express train to run every Friday & Saturday from July 23

The Railway Board has commissioned the run of the Indore Express and Ujjain Express from Dehradun in a bid to boost ease of travel and connectivity across states. As per reports, both trains have been scheduled for a bi-weekly run, in line with the COVID protocols. The Indore service will operate every Friday and Saturday from July 23, while the Ujjain train will operate every Tuesday and Wednesday from July 27. Both trains will depart at 5:50 AM from the Dehradun railway station towards their respective destinations, on the aforementioned dates.

Western Railways to flag off 7 pairs of trains from Indore, easing connectivity & commute

In wake of the sloping graph of the coronavirus infection, the Western Railways has decided to soon unlock the operations of about 7 pairs (14 services) of trains to and fro Indore and the neighbouring Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) stations. As per reports, other trains too, will be inducted later into the functional fleet of the railways soon. Until now, railway services were running as a 'special' force, where travel was permitted only by the authority of a confirmed reservation.
