With the infection curve flattening, Lucknow & Kanpur register 0 fatalities for 2 consecutive days

The pandemic situation in Uttar Pradesh seems to be under control as on 3 July, 204 patients have been discharged while 112 positive cases have been reported. Among these 112 cases, 17 have been registered in Lucknow and 7 in Kanpur. However, the silver lining is that no patients have succumbed to their conditions in these two cities, in the past 2 days. Further, no positive cases have been reported in 36 other districts of UP.

Lockdown to be revoked in Lucknow on Wednesday after a 39-day long halt!

After the active tallies dropped below 600 on Tuesday, the officials have decided to revoke the lockdown restrictions in Lucknow. Implemented for the first time on May 1 for a period of 3 days, the lockdown witnessed multiple extensions and the curfew is on its 39th day now. As per reports, the authorities have informed that the restraints shall be inapplicable from 7 AM on Wednesday and the related guidelines will be released by the district commissioner by evening.

Pandemic threat mellows in Lucknow as fresh cases fall below the 50-mark on Friday!

Lucknow's COVID infection graph on Friday plunged below the 50-mark after 80 days of high figures and tallies. As per reports, only 40 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, marking a major respite amid the raging pandemic. Meanwhile, recovery surged to a much higher count at 162 discharges, effectively minimising the active caseload down to 1,334 patients. The state capital has reportedly clocked in a total of 2,33,944 recoveries and 2,486 deaths as yet.
