Just in time to spice up your festive mood, Lucknow will be hosting a grand food fair, next month in December. A state-affair, expect this bonanza to be a carnival of cuisine, crafted just to satiate all your om-nom-nom hankerings.
What's cooking, literally?
A food fiesta is set to find its ground amidst the lights and magnificence of Lucknow's Riverfront, and it has got us absolutely delighted! Reportedly, the district administration, under the authority of an FSDA team is presently preparing for the event.
The highlight of this carnival will be the traditional delicacies of Lucknow, and the choices here are going to be endless. Authentic flavours can be enjoyed throughout the event, so make sure you have ready to have it all this December. With dishes like- the famous Gulab Rewari, the succulent kebabs, popular items like sandilla ke laddu, amid a wide host of vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks, this food fair will have something for everyone and will especially attract all desi foodies in the house!
Bringing in flavours from across the state, the food fair is going to be a grand affair where you can expect to taste flavours from all different cities of UP. From Prayagraj's sofa samosa to Pratapgarh's marmalade (murabba), there is no end to the food rave here! A designated street food zone will also be set up here, checking off all the boxes of a wholesome foodsplore.
As per Dr. SP Singh, DO FDSA, the food carnival will roll out the perfect opportunity to make people aware of healthy food and lifestyle. The FDSA will set up its own stall in the fair which will educate people about the art of keeping food healthy in the current environment. This will work internally as well, keeping other stall owners in the hygiene loop.
A lot more beyond food!
Besides the whiff of delicious food, there are a lot of other things that will charm you here. Vendors of chikan-kurta pyjama from Lucknow and other traditional and popular apparel from the other districts will make an appearance here.
The stalls of ODOP will also find their ground here, displaying popular indigenous products, that are much in demand. Lucknow regional administration has reached out to the Districts Incentive Centers to facilitate this seamlessly, concluded reports.
