Establishment work of metro line 2A and 7 stands at 80% completion and in the coming months, all work related to train laying, signalling and civil construction will pave the way for scheduling the first trial-run of these lines from January 14, 2021. After Kolkata, Mumbai will be the second city with an underwater metro. The tunnelling for the same has been completed under the main channel of the Mithi river in Mumbai.
