Primary schools in Lucknow & other UP districts to be upgraded with child-friendly furniture

The Uttar Pradesh Education Department has set the ball rolling for new upgrades at about 26,599 upper primary schools in the state. Specials sanctions have been released to boost the education infrastructure of these institutes with the addition of child-friendly furniture. Until now, students used to sit on floor mats in classes.

Private schools in Lucknow to fall under RTI radar

In a bid to foster a transparent education system in Uttar Pradesh, the State Information Commission(SIC) has given out a ruling, wherein, all private schools in UP will come under the purview of RTI. Through the order, Information Commissioner of UP, Pramod Kumar Tiwari, has sought the appointment of public information officers in private schools. Educational institutes will now have to compulsorily provide all information sought under Right to Information Act. As per reports, the new resolution is set to bring relief to students and their parents seeking information from private schools, without any hassle.

UP schools reopen today for on-campus administrative works after almost 100 days of closure

As the second wave of the pandemic is retiring gradually in Uttar Pradesh, schools registered under Basic Education Council have revived operations from today, for administrative purposes. As per reports, schools for grades 1 to 8 are being opened for teachers and other school staff, including the employees linked to the Shikshmitra scheme. Class 10 & 12 UP Board Results 2021 likely to be announced in the second week of July

The Uttar Pradesh Board is expected to announce the results of class 10 and 12 council exam results in the second week of July. As per the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, the results and mark sheets of both classes will be released on the same day. While the exact date and time of the announcement is not yet announced, the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has elaborated the criteria on which the students will be assessed and evaluated, in light of the cancellation of final exams.

Here are the evaluation criteria for 10th & 12th grade students of the UP Board!

The Uttar Pradesh government released the set of guidelines for marking the students of 10th and 12th standards, after the UPSMP board examinations were cancelled. As per reports, the pupils of grade 10 will be assessed based on a 50-50 rule while the 50-40-10 formula will be deployed for marking the students of class 12. It is noteworthy that the annual board examinations for graduating school students have been disrupted for the second year in a row!
